2012 was het jaar dat de Soulshow 40 jaar bestond. We vierden dit samen met de fans en Ferry Maat in The Spot in Bussum.

De Soulshow
De Soulshow. Ferry Maat begon dit legendarische radio programma in 1972 op de zeezender Radio Noordzee Internationaal. Het muziekprogramma draaide soulmuziek die destijds alleen in de discotheken gedraaid werd. Door dit programma werd de voornamenlijk Amerikaanse soul-, disco- en funkmuziek ook een begrip in Nederland. Presentator Ferry Maat inspireerde vele disc-jockey's die nu wereldberoemd zijn.
